Questions

Do I need a Claude or Codex subscription?

Yes — at least one must be installed and signed in on your Mac. Assamble runs these tools with your own account and adds no model fees on top.

Which agents are supported?

Claude Code and Codex are fully integrated. opencode and Gemini CLI support just landed; Cursor, Copilot and Aider are ready in the settings catalog.

Where does my code go?

Nowhere. Everything runs on your Mac; your code and conversations never reach our servers. The only outbound request is license validation.

What happens to my data when the trial ends?

Nothing is deleted. Your teams, projects and history stay on your Mac; activate a license and pick up right where you left off.

Do the agents commit?

No. Agents never commit or push; changes sit in your working copy, you approve the line-by-line diff, and you can undo with one click.
